Welcome to Sumanth Car Rentals. By using our services and booking vehicles through our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
By accessing our website, making a booking, or using our car rental services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.
To rent a vehicle from Sumanth Car Rentals, you must meet the following requirements:
Bookings can be made through our website, phone, or in-person at our office. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
An advance payment of 50% of the estimated fare is required to confirm a booking. The remaining balance must be paid before or at the time of vehicle pickup.
Upon successful booking, you will receive a confirmation via SMS and email containing booking details, vehicle information, and contact details.
Rentals are calculated on a per-kilometer basis with a minimum daily charge. The rental period begins at the scheduled pickup time and ends at the scheduled return time.
Each rental package includes a specified kilometer limit. Additional kilometers will be charged at the prevailing rate as specified in your booking confirmation.
Vehicles may be used within the state of Karnataka and neighboring states as specified in the booking. Interstate travel requires prior approval and additional documentation. Vehicles are not permitted to be taken outside India.
The person named in the booking must be the primary driver. Additional drivers must be registered with us prior to the rental commencement and must meet all eligibility requirements.
Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any intoxicating substance is strictly prohibited. Violation of this term will result in immediate termination of the rental, and the customer will be liable for all damages and legal consequences.
The customer is responsible for all traffic violations, fines, and penalties incurred during the rental period. We reserve the right to charge the customer for any fines received after vehicle return.
Customers must inspect the vehicle before pickup and report any existing damage. Any damage not reported at pickup will be assumed to have occurred during the rental period.
The vehicle may not be used for:
Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel. Customers must return the vehicle with the same fuel level. If returned with less fuel, the customer will be charged for the missing fuel plus a refueling service fee.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all our vehicles. A cleaning fee of ₹2,000 will be charged for violations of this policy.
All our vehicles come with basic third-party insurance as required by law. This covers liability for injury or damage to third parties.
Comprehensive insurance covering damage to the rented vehicle is available as an optional add-on. Without comprehensive insurance, the customer is fully liable for all damage to the vehicle.

Failure to make payment on time may result in cancellation of the booking and additional charges. Outstanding amounts may be recovered through legal means.
Bookings may be cancelled or modified subject to our Cancellation Policy. Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for detailed information on cancellation charges and refund processes.
Sumanth Car Rentals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, strikes, or other force majeure events.
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
